In Hungary, unable to do his seminary under the communist regime, the young religious, Gabriel Róna, left his homeland to complete his theological studies in Spain. Ordained a priest, he was a missionary for 30 years in Ecuador.
At that time, he providentially received the writings of Mrs. Elisabeth Kindelmann: a heavenly message that speaks of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Father Rona devoted himself to the task of translating these writings from Hungarian to Spanish between 1985 and 1989. He will be the first international coordinator of the Flame of Love Movement until August 2008. He will also hold the task of director. international spirituality of the Movement until 2012. He directed and completed the drafting of the Statutes of the Movement, during two international meetings, one in 2005 in Ecuador and another in 2008 in Brazil. Subsequently the statutes were presented to the Vatican.

We are going to relate here some words he said during his speech when he came to Canada for the 3rd National Congress in 2004:
"To understand a little better the message of the Flame of Love, I would like to start from the message that the Blessed Virgin had given to Fatima. Because the revelations of the Marian era began in Paris in 1830 with the appearance of the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré and continued in La Salette, Lourdes, Fatima, and we humbly believe that through the Flame of Love, they constitute a progressive and each time deeper revelation of the mission of the Mother of God and of the mystery of his Immaculate Heart. "
